Rotary or tilting axes are required for tracker systems, theodolites and measuring arms. Among other things these instruments are used for the measurement of rotation angles. Therefore the manufacture of rotary axes requires a high degree of precision. To spell it out: roundness tolerances of 0.5 micrometres and tolerances of position of 1 micrometre – of course with a reliable process and also for large quantities.
