Our employees manufacture rotary axes from aluminium and steel blanks in a few stages. At Polymeca we have also switched to automation in this area. This enables our specialists to concentrate fully on their specialist area: precision in the micrometre range.

Rotary or tilting axes are required for tracker systems, theodolites and measuring arms. Among other things these instruments are used for the measurement of rotation angles. Therefore the manufacture of rotary axes requires a high degree of precision. To spell it out: roundness tolerances of 0.5 micrometres and tolerances of position of 1 micrometre – of course with a reliable process and also for large quantities. That is no problem to Polymeca. The automation process also enables us to manufacture large quantities precisely and deliver them quickly to our customers. In doing so we always keep the costs in hand. In addition you can rely on our employees just as much as on our machines; 120 specialist personnel ensure that we justify our reputation as a precision manufacturer on a daily basis.
