Electroplating
Environmentally friendly in every form
Surface treatment is no longer just a matter of appearance. Reduction of reflection for optical applications and protection against corrosion are equally important. As a general contractor Polymeca provides you with the full range of surface technologies and electroplating. In addition we pledge to adhere strictly to all environmental directives.
Then there is more. Polymeca has even undertaken a pioneering role in environmental protection and risk reduction. We were one of the first Swiss companies involved with surface treatment to ban hexavalent chrome and other dubious substances from the workplace and thus implement the EU Directive on Restriction of Hazardous Substances. With ISO 14001 certification we also commit ourselves to a consistent and sustainable environmental policy. All of this does not in any way reduce the possibilities of our modern electroplating department. On the contrary: our programme contains all the following coating processes: galvanised and chemical nickel, hard chrome and black chrome, copper, phosphate, eloxal, alodine 1200 and 1500 and the environmentally friendly chrome-VI-free Surtec 650. Wet painting, dust-free wet painting, cleaning, rotofinishing and sand blasting also form part of it. Of course we also operate with the highest levels of precision where surface treatment is concerned.
